Many of the tools we need for collective liberation already exist. As daunting as it feels to dismantle the many interlocking systems of oppression in our world, it’s helpful to remember that we don’t have to create a whole new world from nothing.
I love this SO much. And the Disabilities Act is a perfect example of how legislation designed to help a "minority" population actually makes EVERYONE'S life better. I mean, I can't imagine a world where sidewalks aren't designed for wheelchairs. How would I have managed a stroller when my kids were little???
